It is planned that by 2025, the annual output of Guangzhou New Energy Vehicle will exceed 1 million units. In this context, the 2016 China (Guangzhou) International New Energy, Energy Saving and Smart Car Exhibition will be held in Guangzhou from July 15th to 17th. Data show that last year China's new energy vehicle production exceeded 370,000, becoming the world's largest new energy vehicle market. Guangzhou is also an important consumer market for new energy vehicles. It is reported that Guangzhou has launched a series of favorable policies to promote the development of new energy vehicles. In March of this year, Guangzhou took the lead in issuing the “Guangzhou Manufacturing 2025 Strategic Plan” in the country, focusing on energy conservation and new energy vehicles as one of the top ten industries. In addition, the pure electric, plug-in hybrid or fuel cell small and medium passenger cars listed in the Catalogue of Recommended Models for Energy Saving and New Energy Vehicle Demonstration and Application Engineering are not subject to local restrictions. The analysis said that these measures will stimulate the consumption of new energy vehicles. It is reported that this exhibition is hosted by China National Machinery Industry Group Co., Ltd. and the Central Enterprise Electric Vehicle Industry Alliance. The exhibition scope will cover new energy vehicles, power drive systems, charging facilities, new energy auto parts, smart cars and car networking products.
